Fall is arriving along with tons of new ideas I have for new designs. Fall is my all time favorite season of the year because the colors are soooo much fun to work with. I love crackling so I decided to crackle one board and leave the other board plain. The best way to crackle a board is to use elmers glue!!! I also made these boards smaller because not everyone can fit large boards in there house, also these will be easier to store. I hope you enjoy these boards.

So summer is ending and we have all traveled to very cool places. I decided to put my pictures on a plaque with magnets so everybody could see and the best thing about the magnets is that i can keep switching off pictures! I love the background color because it is very neutral and will match in all most any room. Well hope you all had a fun summer.

Laundry

Riddle- What always comes, but never leaves. It can pile up or be sparse. Must be hung or dried? By now you have probably guessed its laundry! Laundry gets so boring but I found away to spice it up and you probably guessed through wood. Not many people take the opportunity to decorate their laundry rooms but I thought hey why not! I put my brain to thinking and came up with this. It is my favorite one so far. Be sure to check out my website because I cannot put everything I make on my blog, I prefer to put it on the website. If you want to see other crafts I have made during the summer or for fall feel free to go to www.fayesgarden.com

Lazy Summer

Summer is definitely is here and it sure has been a great one, filled with tons of activities!! So far we have fished (nothing but net), kayaked, canoed and camped. While on these adventures I snapped about a million pictures and I decided that I would need some place to hang these pictures up. I decided to do a wooden wall hanging because in the stores I couldn't find anything fun or bright so I put my creative juices to work and this is what I came up with. I think it looks perfect in the home or at camp!!! I love it because it reflects all the bright colors of summer and I can constantly change the pictures because I used decorative clips, so when I get tired of one picture I un clip it and put up my next adventure. If interested visit my website, the link is at the bottom of the page.

Dance!!!

More wood hangings!!! I love to to make these, they are so much fun! I had a great idea for this wood work because I had just been watching a lot of older movies and my sister commented on how romantic it was that everybody danced. So this gave me an idea to make a wall hanging about dancing with someone you love. I painted the letters and dancers on and modged podged the background with fancy cardstock. This was so much fun to make and turned out really nice.

Blocks!!!

Well because summer is here my new idea with wood is blocks!! These blocka were so much fun to make and took so little time. I choose bright colors and simple sayings. I had arranged them on my in table in my first picture but then I took it a step further and decided to add ribbon so I could hang it on the wall. Either way they turned out great and add that touch of summer to my home. I will be selling this set for $13, if interested visist my website which is at the bottom of the page.

Hello blog friends,

I have been doing more woodworking!! I have many friends and family that have been getting married this season, so instead of giving them the usual "frying pans or plates" I decided to make them a wooden wall hanging. I decided that it would be an unique and different gift. I asked my husband what the hanging should say and he said "What about wedded bliss?". The first time I heard it I knew it fit Shauna(my friend getting married) perfectly. When I gave Shauna the gift she was so happy!
